Abstract submission guidelines
Abstract title: An abstract must have a short, specific title. Avoid non-standard abbreviations.
Author block: Authors’ names should be written as first name and last name. The presenting author must be the first author. Include authors’ affiliations.
Abstract text:
Abstracts are restricted to 350 words. Abstracts must be in a structured format containing Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Primary focus should be placed on the Results and Conclusions sections.
Use generic drug names.
Standard abbreviations are allowed. Full name of non-standard abbreviations must be mentioned at their first use.
Do not include references, grant support, and credits in the abstract text.
Do not include the names or personal information of any patients participating in the study.
The abstract must not include any graphics.
Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present if accepted.
The PI and all co-authors must agree to submit and present the work at 5MReSparks Awards 2023. The organizing committee will not be involved in any related conflict resolution.
Acceptance/non-acceptance of abstracts will be e-mailed to the submitting author.

All abstract submission should fall within following categories.
Cell-cell communication in heart disease
Cardiac inflammation/immune cells
Cardiac regeneration/stem cells
Cardiac metabolism/Diabetic CVD/HFpEF
Cardiac fibrosis/Aortic stenosis and/or AI/Omics in cardiovascular health
Bioengineering/Biomaterials in cardiovascular health
RNA biology in cardiovascular health and disease
Sex differences in cardiovascular disease
